Right. I'll just protect you a little bit more. [He teases, finding himself leaning back toward Nate's hand.] I'll be so good at protecting you that you won't even know any protecting was happening! Like a protection ninja.

( rather than answer the question, he goes and steals a kiss from the man’s lips right there on the street they’re on, absolutely no hesitation or second thoughts had. the kiss itself is one which is sweet and soft, a brush of lips against wade’s own that lingers for a moment that seems to stretch into eternity before he’s pulling back just enough to look to him with those bright blue eyes of his. )

[That's certainly one way to distract Wade Wilson, no matter how the Anomaly is effecting him. He's annoyingly do-gooder and doesn't swear every other word, but he's still Wade. He's still desperate for affection, still intensely drawn to Nate.

He's leaning forward into the kiss so much that he stumbles with Nate finally pulls back.] S'okay... I mean, you can do that... whenever you feel the urge... like anytime.

What were we talking about again?

Don't think it was really all that important.

( smile soft and warm on his lips, he noses at wade for a moment before he pulls back to look at him a little better. )

You're probably right. [Nate doesn't even need mind control for Wade when he looks at him like that and says things like that. He blinks, staring at him. Nate needed him?]

I'm not used to that... being needed. I like it.

[overconfidently]

( at that, he smiles a little more and noses wade again before he's pulling back. despite the shifts within him happening, wade can somehow still pull him back in when need be — still center him, to an extent. at least enough to feel this for a moment or two. )

Try not to disappear on me, too, ok?

I like you too. [He like likes you, Nate. He's grins like the stupid idiot he is now, even as Nate pulls back.]

I'll try not to. And you don't get anywhere either, you hear me mister?

( there’s something sweet about all this despite how very messed up so much is and yet, nate can’t help but keep the gentleness there in that smile of his as wade goes and says what he does. both things, really. )

Here I thought I’d be the bossy one between us.

( playfully said, he nods after a moment, fingers gently touching wade’s before they drop away at his side. )
