Skills: Wade is a Special Forces/Army trained soldier, so he has a lot of skills outside his mutant powers. He's an expert with most all firearms, especially hand guns and sniper rifles. He's also a talented martial artist and can dual wield swords. Furthermore, he can also speak multiple languages outside of English, including German, Spanish, Japanese, and ASL.
Canon Abilities: As a mutant, Wade has regenerative powers that mean he can heal him from any injury, as well as knit together lost limbs or regrow them entirely. He has cancer, that is constantly warring against this healing ability, and if he were to lose his powers it would start to slowly kill him. Wade also has the ability to break the fourth-wall and I will always abide other characters permissions and ask before fourth-wall breaking a character's canon. Usually the comments are things that would make no sense to the receiver, and most people dismiss the idiotic words that come out of his mouth most of the time anyway.
Role: Myth
Role Qualities/Attributes: When Wade is being particularly selfish, careless, or when he expresses deep honest emotions that he usually hides, that is when his Myth aspects will manifest. That would be ram horns on the side of his head.
Role Reasoning: Wade is in a constant struggle to try and be better than he is. He's greedy, careless about his safety and the safety of others, murders people for money, and seldom cares about those who aren't within his circle of friends. He wants to be a hero and has tried to join the X-men and form his super-team, but he's failed each time to achieve that. I would like to have him grapple with that struggle here too. Perhaps that might end with him trying to become a legend or getting dragged down further into his worst impulses if he feels he cannot achieve it.

- What was the most traumatic experience your character endured? How did this change them? (cw: cancer) Wade was dying of cancer and once all other options hadn’t worked to cure himself, he’d signed up for a secret experiment with a shadowy organization in a last-ditch effort to stay alive for his girlfriend Vanessa’s sake. They claimed they could cure him and make him into a superhero, instead, he was tortured for months to the point of death over and over. The logic being that intense pain/trauma could trigger latent mutant abilities. The real goal as well was to make super-powered slaves to sell to the highest bidder. Eventually, he did get those powers, but it broke his mind in the process, making him unstable, horribly scarred, and broken. This made him who he is today, a broken man with superpowers who hides behind absurdity and jokes to avoid facing the pain and agony bottled up inside him.
- What is the most important and defining relationship(s) in your character's life, and why? (cw: suicidal ideation) His most defining relationship was with his girlfriend Vanessa. He would have done anything for her. If not for her, he would never have tried to save himself and enter the experiment that made him into a mutant. He loved her more deeply than he loved anything before. She made him try. Unfortunately, his careless actions led to her death, which is something he can’t forgive himself for. He’d done everything he could to stay alive for her, and after she died, he did everything he could not to. He tried to kill himself many times to punish himself, and he also felt that there was no point in living. Except his powers prevented that at every turn. He eventually found a family in Russell, Cable, Domino, Colossus, NTW, and Yukio to live for them instead, but there’s still a whole in his heart where she’d been.
- Is your character capable of forgiveness, or will they hold a grudge until they die? Would anything ever make them change their mind? It depends on what the other person did if Wade could find forgiveness in his heart. He can absolutely hold a grudge forever, having gone to the ends of the earth to track down Francis (the man who made him a monster) and shot him in the head despite Colossus’ attempts to talk him out of it. But if there is something that he can see in them that he identifies with, he can forgive. He needs something to latch onto. If everything they give him is irredeemable? He’ll have no qualms about never forgiving them, and even killing them depending on the situation. However, he was able to forgive Cable for trying to kill Russell once he found out the reason why was because Russell in the future had killed his family. Because Wade had just lost Vanessa, he was able to empathize with that. He still fought him for trying to kill Russell, but he understood him for it.
- If your character could change one thing about their past, what would it be and why? Or why not? Based on the after-credits of Deadpool 2 where he actually goes back in time as does this, it’s obvious that the most pressing thing he would change is Vanessa’s death. He would have made sure to save her and keep her alive at all costs. He might have chosen having never gotten the experiment done on him that had made him, but there is the selfish part of him that would want them both alive regardless of the trauma he endured and the potential that she’d still be in danger around him. He wants to have a life with her and wanted to build a family with her. Before she came around, he didn’t look at family as a good thing, as his childhood had been so bad. So the opportunity to get her back and still be with her is one that he'd take readily.

During that time, he'd not changed much as a person but felt the immense weight of being tasked with saving his universe but tried to distract himself with his usual antics (example: prepping for the labyrinth that might kill people by getting a group together for a party to watch The Labyrinth). Coming back again, after having saved his and multiple universes in Deadpool & Wolverine, is going to throw him for a loop. He finally knows that he's capable of great things and of saving his world, but the fact that his universe is still in danger is going to piss him off.
abilities: Wade has a healing factor that means he can heal from any injury and regrow any part of his body, even previously healing from getting ripped in half and blown up. In game, if there are any in-game plots that require that healing factor not to work or work more slowly, that would be fine by me. He also has superhuman strength to a degree, and quick reflexes. He's also a skilled fighter with hand to hand, guns, and blades.

The people Wade cares for, he cares for deeply, and he wants to protect them, even if sometimes his more negative tendencies and mental instability compete with that desire. In the second movie when Vanessa dies due to his negligence he’s inconsolable, so much so that he tries to end his own life only to have his healing factor prevent it. He also grows to care for Russell and fights desperately to save him from Cable and the teen's own demons. Russell gave him something new to fight for eventually and a new hope for a family, even if it isn’t one by blood. Wade wants to connect with others, even if sometimes he's not one to go about it in a normal way. This is shown again in the third movie, where he does everything he can to save his universe for the sake of his found family and is willing to put his own life at risk to do so, fighting Wolverine for who would sacrifice themselves to destroy the Time Ripper that would have destroyed all timelines-- which they ultimately teamed up to do and therefore managed to survive.
With Wade's healing factor comes a disregard for his safety. He leaps into situations without care for how he might be hurt. The pain from his injuries is the same as anyone else might suffer even if he heals from it, and that constant infliction of pain does little to improve his already fractured mental state. He's been shot, stabbed, ripped in half, and yet still never stops joking through it all. With this recklessness, sometimes Wade also fails to account for how his actions might impact those around him. He traveled around the world killing gangsters, human traffickers, and awful people and did little to hide who he was. There was a gang leader that he'd failed to kill who was able to track him back to the apartment he shared with Vanessa and while he was able to fend off most of the attackers, one did end up shooting and killing her. Ultimately though, knowing his actions are at fault he hasn't changed his behavior, he's still as reckless as he ever was because mental instability won’t allow for anything else.
Wade tends not to care about things unless they impact him directly or are in the immediate present. Deaths, atrocities, and world events don't matter, but if someone hurts someone he cares about, he is there in a moment to seek retribution. He chases Vanessa's killer down the street and throws them both in front of a truck. Yet when Cable tells him that fifty years in the future Wade and his generation "fuck this planet into a coma," Wade just makes an exploding 'boom' sound and says, "Spoiler alert! Ha ha! Ah... planets." And in Deadpool & Wolverine, he gladly tells Cassandra Nova all the terrible things that Johnny Storm had said about her when they first meet because he thought it was funny, leading to Cassandra murdering Johnny. But Wade brushes that off, much to Logan's horror. Because Wade hadn't really gotten that close to the man, he didn't really care that much that he'd died. He can be very callous in that way.
Wade resorts to violence quickly and when he has his mind set on a goal or target, he usually pays little mind to the collateral damage. He will shoot up an entire building or blow up cars and roadways all to kill one man. He is usually only trying to kill terrible people or those attacking him, but there seems to be little concern about who else might be in the crosshairs.

Wade portrays himself as a buffoon, someone who cracks jokes even at the most inappropriate times and seldom takes things seriously. This is certainly part of who he is, but beneath that is a broken man. His childhood was abusive and his father abandoned the family when he was still growing up. He also experienced a mental break during the torture he endured during the experimentation that led to his regenerative powers, which makes it even harder for him to react to situations in what might be perceived as normal. His mental break manifests in his ability to break the fourth-wall. He views himself as being in a movie and makes comments to that effect, but everyone else views his commentary as the manifestation of his insanity.
In the moments where Wade isn't putting on a show, he does show another side. He's hiding a lot of pain, grief, and depression underneath the front he puts on. He can also be very protective of those he cares for, willing to put himself in the way of danger to keep them from harm. Although, because of his mental state, sometimes his careless actions put them in harms way anyway despite his desire otherwise. He shows little care for his own well being and safety, not simply because he can heal but also because in doesn't care if he actually does die. Suicidal ideation is something that lingers in him, but he's less prone to it once he has those around him that he cares for. When Vanessa was killed that desire was strong and he acted on it, but once he found a family in Russell as well as Cable, Colossus, Domino, and Negasonic Teenage Warhead he found purpose and that desire waned.

- He may also be tempted by a personal pan pizza or Taco Bell Crunchwrap (he doesn't have very good self-control, alright?)

- Wade has an incredible healing factor that heals him from nearly every injury (he's yet to find anything that can kill him while his powers aren't being blocked). He's survived explosions, losing limbs, getting shot and stabbed on all part of his body including his head. His healing factor and the erratic nature of his brain also makes it very hard for telepaths to read his mind.
- Wade also has enhanced strength, speed, stamina, and reflexes.
- Another 'Ability' he has is his ability to break the fourth-wall. I will have an opt out post on my page for anyone who doesn't want him to do so to them and will abide someone's listed preferences in that regard as well.

Hugging this character: Only if you're okay with Wade potentially grabbing your ass.
Kissing this character: If you really want to kiss his scarred up mug. He won't complain! And it'll shut him up for a second or two.
Flirting with this character: Go ahead, if you think you can handle Deadpool flirting back at you.
Fighting with this character: Absolutely.
Injuring this character (include limits and severity): Have at it. He heals so someone stabbing him he'll just shrug it off. Now if you are actually legitimately trying to hurt him or have a way to do it that will stick, then we will have to discuss that ahead of time.
Killing this character: There would have to be some extenuating circumstances for that to work. We'd have to plot it out first.
Using telepathy/mind reading/mind control abilities on this character: Probably won't work on him. And you're better off not trying to jump into his crazy bucket of cats brain.

[Opt In/Opt Out for Fourth wall Breaking!]
For the purposes of having Deadpool in a game, knowing who does and doesn't want Wade breaking the fourth wall on them will really help me out! If you do want him to break the fourth wall and know your canon let me know. If you want to make sure Wade keeps it "strictly professional" with your character let me know that too!
If he is fourth-wall breaking usually he's just make strange comments that won't make any sense to your character but will to you. He's not going up to people and just telling them they aren't real.
I can't guarantee that I myself will know your canon- but that's what Google is for!
