Kurt picks a high vantage point on the gym, and moves right away once he spots the other man. It's a situation in which teleportation is useful, surely, and Kurt's execution is smooth and well-practiced. He appears beside Deadpool in a burst of smoke and noise, grabbing him before vanishing again, and the pair ultimately manifests in a largely empty warehouse space, the closed-off back half of the building that also houses the gym.
There are numerous contraptions--bars, trapeze swings, rings--suspended from the ceiling, and the floor beneath them is covered with thin, sturdy mats. Kurt both forcefully pushes Wade's shoulder and pulls his feet out from under with his tail, aiming to send him tumbling to said mats. ]
